Paid Media and Marketing Internship New York City

What if you interned at a company where you had access to an accomplished CEO and Managing Director who were there to teach and mentor, not to scold?

KAS Placement is currently looking for a media and marketing intern in the New York City office to helping with the following (more tasks will be given as the more responsibility, learning and caring for the firm are showed):

Initial Responsibilities

1) Social Media

Social Media Initiatives by KAS Placement's recruiters including helping design and continually update the KAS Placement FB and LinkedIn pages (Beta) as well as other social media related projects.

2) Photoshop

(Photoshop Knowledge a Must) Take the different photos from either KAS Placement as a company or for CEO of KAS Placement Ken Sundheim (media) and quickly be able to perform basic enhancements as well as put graphic text on the images better than already displayed on our homepage.

For the right fit, this will also involve eventual dealing with editors of major publications from around the world, so writing skills are necessary.

3) Basic Admin Functions and Research

This could involve answering phones or doing company research for a client or recruiter at KAS.  Varies by day.

Position Requirements:

- Personable and fun to work with.

- Strong knowledge of and interest in social media (FB, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).

- Ability to work up to 15 - 20hrs. a week (we understand that this may be less during exams, etc. and do our best to work with you).

- Knowledge of Photoshop or similar program.

- Responsibility is crucial.

- 3.5 GPA or above.

- Desired Major(s) / Minor(s): In Business Preferably in Marketing

Compensation:

- $10 / hr.

- If you prefer to work on your laptop, that's fine.

- Subway travel is paid for, but applicant must live in New York City.
